Dr Bronwyn Boesack, General Surgeon

Dr Bronwyn Boesack, a registered independent practice specialist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA), graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Cape Town and a Masters in Surgery (MMed) degree from Stellenbosch University. After her successful General Surgery Registrar training, Dr Boesack attained her Fellowship from the College of Medicine in South Africa.

Dr Boesack completed postgraduate courses in Advanced Trauma Support, open colon and bowel stapling surgery, thyroid ultrasound, endoscopy and breast oncoplastic surgery. She is a member of the South African Gastroenterology Society, Federation of South African Surgeons, Association of Surgeons of South Africa and the South African Society of Surgeons in Training.

As an expert in her field of general surgery, Dr Boesack has contributed and participated in health tours, media talks and has supervised aspiring medical students at Stellenbosch University. With her extensive in-depth knowledge and surgical acumen in open and minimally invasive surgery, Dr Boesack is passionate about patient care and finding the right treatment for a range of conditions. She has a keen interest and specialises in endocrinology, proctology and breast surgery.
